Transport Scotland has moved to the final procurement stage for its £1.94bn framework to complete the dualling of the A9 between Perth and Inverness by releasing a shortlist of contractors.

The £1.94 billion framework that will deliver the remaining sections of the A9 dualling programme between Perth and Inverness has entered the final stage of procurement. Transport Scotland has formally invited five construction groups to submit tenders, with the framework expected to be concluded by the end of 2026 and used to procure the final five A9 dualling projects.
