On Tuesday, Aaliyah Edwards scored a career-high 26 points with 10 rebounds as the Connecticut Sun defeated the Chicago Sky 87-81 for their 10th win of the season.
Connecticut established early dominance, leading 44-29 at halftime after holding Chicago to 33% shooting, including 0 of 12 from 3-point range.
The Sun held a 78-58 lead early in the fourth quarter before the Sky clawed within 82-79 with 2:20 remaining following a 21-4 run.
Kamilla Cardoso led Chicago with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while teammate Courtney Vandersloot became the second player in WNBA history to reach 3,000 career assists.
The Sun will host Golden State on Wednesday night as they continue their season following the victory.
