The chancellery confirmed this Friday the transfer of several detainees to the organized crime control district (QLCO) of the Ornaise prison. After Vendin-le-Vieil (Pas-de-Calais) and Condé-sur-Sarthe, four new places of detention of this type are scheduled to open in the coming months.
The identities and profiles of these detainees are not yet known, and they must be kept in complete isolation under a very strict detention regime.
After Vendin-le-Vieil, Condé-sur-Sarthe prison sees its new organized anti-criminality district entering service. The first detainees arrived on Thursday 13 November.
The prison system dedicated to organised crime now welcomes its first eight inmates, as part of an operation involving important logistical and security means.
