In a study published on 31 July 2025, conducted among more than 1,500 companies worldwide, the US company Semperis reveals that 78% of the companies surveyed have been the target of a ransomware attempt in the past year. Among the victims of a successful attack, 40% say they have been subjected to physical threats against employees. The report also shows that France is fully concerned with the phenomenon.
