The Crestview Planning and Development Board voted Aug. 3 to recommend that the City Council approve a rezoning request for a nearly 37-acre lot that will be home to 72 new single-family homes.

Comox council passed an amendment to the contentious zoning amendment bylaw 2056.01 for the property at 712 Lazo Road. This amendment was on the agenda for a third reading at the Aug. 5 council meeting.
