Mt. Holly aluminum smelter expansion to boost domestic primary aluminum production
The Mt. Holly Aluminum Smelter in Berkeley County is expanding production by 25%, a move that will allow the facility to produce more than 10% of the nation’s aluminum, according to Century Aluminum CEO Jesse Gary.
