Colts, Pacers join forces and donate $125,000 each to help with flood relief efforts in Indiana
The Colts and Pacers are giving $125,000 each as local teams join relief efforts for flooding that has killed at least seven people.
On Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, and Noblesville Boom announced a combined $250,000 donation to the American Red Cross supporting central Indiana families impacted by historic flooding.
President Donald Tumps issued an emergency declaration for more than half of Indiana's 92 counties as historic flooding has left at least seven people dead and displaced many residents.
Terry Stigdon, CEO of the American Red Cross Indiana Region, reported more than 4,700 meals served recently, while Colts Owner Kalen Jackson said seeing flooding at Conner Prairie is "a very personal thing."
ITOWN Church will host a drive-thru distribution Monday at its Fishers campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing food, hygiene supplies, and cleaning kits for residents.
