Coloplast expects Kerecis wound-care unit to return to growth in 2027, CFO says
Aug 18 (Reuters) – Medical equipment maker Coloplast expects its Kerecis wound-care business to return to growth from January 2027 after changes to U.S. Medicare payments caused sales in outpatient settings to fall sharply, its finance chief told Reuters on Tuesday. Coloplast has seen its profit after tax grow 82 percent to almost 1.5 billion kroner in the third quarter.
The largest Danish stocks in the C25 index fell by 0.73 percent on Tuesday. But the Coloplast stock was on the rise.
Danish Coloplast, which develops and sells healthcare products, reports an adjusted operating profit of DKK 1,929 million (1,915) for the third quarter of the 2025/2026 financial year.
