For months, investigations have been underway into suspects who are said to have sold residence permits to wealthy Chinese people. One of the largest brothels in Europe has also come under the investigators' scrutiny.

The Cologne brothel "Pascha" has been confiscated. The reason for this is an investigation into a gang of people smugglers. However, the business continues.
