(step) Cologne/Bonn Airport has awarded the aviation security control service to Securitas as part of a Europe-wide tender. Since 2021, the security service provider has been entrusted with the checks of passengers and their baggage in accordance with the aviation security law at the site and will continue to perform this task for five more years on behalf of the airport and under the supervision of the Federal Police.
At the airport Cologne/Bonn there is something about security. On the one hand, the contract with the company Securitas has been extended for another five years. Cologne/Bonn Airport is awarding Securitas aviation security controls. The security service provider will take over the task for five years from January 2026. At the same time, a million-dollar project will be launched to modernise the control stations.
