Patrick Mahomes Will Be Guest Picker on ESPN’s 'College GameDay'

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Texas Tech alumnus, will join College GameDay on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Texas Tech University for the Red Raiders' game versus BYU at Jones AT&T Stadium.
With the Chiefs on a bye week, Mahomes will appear Saturday, returning to Texas Tech where he played three seasons and joined the Texas Tech Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022.
During his Texas Tech career, Mahomes completed 857 of 1,349 passes and led FBS with 5,052 yards and 421 yards per game as a junior in 2016, while rushing for 22 scores in 32 games.
College GameDay is heading to Lubbock for only the second time, with Rece Davis hosting alongside analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban, while Mahomes appears as a guest picker.
The matchup between Texas Tech Red Raiders and BYU Cougars could affect the conference championship and College Football Playoff, with Texas Tech having lost just one game and kickoff at 12 p.m. ET on ABC.
