Collaboration Helps Put Out Fire At Former Toledo Mill

On Tuesday March 25th Toledo Fire Department was dispatched just at 12:09 to the Western Cascade Lumber Mill on S. Bay Road.  The facility was recently sold and was being dismantled with significant hot metal work as part of the process. Toledo Fire Department Engine-42 arrived with 2 personnel at 12:21 and determined this was a defensive fire with significant fire in the middle of the structure and potential structural failure which prohibited …
