- The deal plugs a specific gap in Cognizant's 'AI builder strategy' by providing operational expertise to design, build, and run the physical data center infrastructure that enterprise AI systems require.
- Founded in 2001, Astreya employs more than 2,200 IT professionals across 33 countries, maintaining long-term managed services relationships with six of the 'Magnificent Seven' hyperscalers.
- "We will be even better-positioned to help clients architect their platform-led AI systems and operationalize them at scale," said Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar, signaling focus on production-grade infrastructure delivery.
