Cobourg council passes comprehensive zoning bylaw, appeal deadline set for Jan. 7

Cobourg council has passed a new comprehensive zoning bylaw that updates zoning regulations across much of the municipality. Bylaw 066 2025 was adopted during the regular council meeting on Dec. 17 under Section 34 of the Planning Act. The town says the bylaw establishes regulations governing land use, building density and height, parking requirements, and the location and use of buildings and structures.
