Coalisland people have rallied round shop owner whose business was attacked in racist crime

The people of Coalisland have sent a “clear and powerful message” that racism, intimidation and hate have no place in the town, local SDLP councillor Malachy Quinn has said.

Rally held in support of shop owner after racist attack

A RALLY has been held in Coalisland in support of a phone shop owner whose business was targeted in what police are treating as a race-motivated hate crime. The demonstration followed an attack on the premises of Chaudhary Hamza Riaz, whose mobile phone shop had been open for just one day before its front windows were smashed.
