After a very slow January for housing starts in Ottawa, February’s starts were the highest for that month that I’ve tracked. Those consisted of 50 singles being started, 6 semis, 119 rows and 782 apartments. Completions were flipped. January 2026 saw the highest completions in the years I’ve tracked (785).
