The night reception centre of the night hospital in Toga (Bastia) will open this Tuesday, April 21. The structure, managed for years by the association Fratellanza, was closed for six days due to lack of funding. The prefecture of Haute-Corse has appointed another operator for a transitional period.
The immediate closure of the Toga emergency shelter in Bastia forced the Haute-Corse prefecture to put in place a transitional solution to prevent a breakdown of care. The reception must resume as early as 21 April, while a new call for projects is being launched to sustain the scheme.
