Clarkson’s Farm Trailer Features Jeremy’s Health Scare and Kaleb’s ‘Replacement’
On Monday, May 18, Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for Clarkson's Farm season five, premiering June 3. The footage reveals significant health and operational challenges facing broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson at Diddly Squat Farm.
Clarkson appears in the trailer receiving hospital treatment, telling farmhand Kaleb Cooper: "My heart wasn't getting any blood." This follows a 2024 health scare where doctors warned the 64-year-old broadcaster he was "days away" from catastrophe due to a blocked artery.
Seeking to modernize operations, Clarkson introduces a driverless tractor, prompting Kaleb to remark: "That is basically taking my job." Kaleb later travels to the Netherlands to study cutting-edge farming methods, marking his first trip abroad.
Complicating the season, a tuberculosis outbreak forces government inspectors to place Diddly Squat Farm under restrictions. More than 21,000 cattle were culled across England recently due to TB, reflecting the disease's severity.
Prime Video will release the eight-episode season across three installments beginning June 3, with episodes 5-6 arriving June 10 and 7-8 on June 17. Clarkson plans to take time off from television work for the first time in 40 years, though filming for a sixth series has already begun.
