City officials continue cleanup efforts and will provide free dumpsters for storm debris July 17th through the 19th at the Street Department for Monmouth residents

The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado struck Monmouth during the June 17 storms. The tornado was on the ground for about two minutes, packing 100-mile-per-hour winds as it traveled 1.3 miles through the city, damaging roofs, buildings and trees.
