The city of Aalst has terminated the management agreement with the Eendracht Aalst football club for both the Zandberg youth complex and the Pierre Cornelis stadium. That decision was made unanimously by the Aalster City Council. “Now that everything points in the direction of degradation, we are working on an alternative plan,” said mayor Christoph D'Haese (N-VA) and Sport Matthias De Ridder (N-VA) ships.
