The FOND received 17,600 applications for incentives for electric vehicles in just one hour, which is why the public call is temporarily closed today at noon.
Initially, 20 million euros were secured for this program, and the Fund has announced the provision of additional funds, depending on the interest expressed and the results of the processing of applications.
As of this morning, citizens could apply for up to 9,000 euros to buy a new electric vehicle under the 20 million euro program. The fund warns that the large number of applications does not mean that everyone who applies will be eligible for the money.
The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund received around 17,600 applications for co-financing the purchase of new energy-efficient vehicles in just one hour today, from 9 to 10 am, and given the number of applications received, the public call will be temporarily closed at noon, the Fund reported.
