Billionaire Christian Ringnes has plans ready for the famous landmark.

Christian Ringnes buys Tryvann Tower, reports VG. Ringnes buys the tower together with Eiendomsspar, one of Norway's largest real estate companies, for 14 million kroner. Oslo Municipality put the tower up for sale in June 2024. Tryvann Tower will now become a new restaurant. But the tower is in poor condition. Ringnes estimates that he will have to spend over 100 million kroner to renovate the entire tower, as well as the surrounding area.
