Chris Pratt teaches 'Way of the Warrior Kid' in Apple TV family film
Chris Pratt plays an injured Navy SEAL uncle who teaches a bullied boy discipline and courage in a film adaptation of Jocko Willink’s novel.
Apple premiered the first trailer for McG's "Way of the Warrior Kid," an upcoming military drama starring Chris Pratt as an injured Navy SEAL, debuting exclusively on November 25.
Based on Jocko Willink's novel, the story follows Marc, an 11-year-old boy struggling with bullies, whose life shifts when his uncle, a decorated Navy SEAL, arrives to teach him real courage.
Jake devises an ambitious program called "Operation Warrior Kid" to help his nephew defend himself, with Jude Hill starring as Marc and Linda Cardellini as his mother, Sarah.
Reflecting on the project, Pratt stated, "I have faith this film will help to shape today's youth," hoping the story inspires the next generation to learn discipline and self-reliance.
Directed by McG, the streaming feature follows Pratt's recent success with "The Terminal List," positioning the film within his expanding portfolio on Prime Video.
