Ibuka condemns desecration of Genocide memorial in France
The organisation of Genocide survivors Ibuka has strongly condemned the desecration of a memorial stele dedicated to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in the French city of Rouen. Ibuka France called for swift investigations and accountability for those responsible. The memorial was vandalised as Rwanda and the world continue to observe the 32nd commemoration of the Genocide that claimed over one million lives in 1994. ALSO READ…
