China is rapidly building advanced nuclear submarines. The latest satellite images of a mysterious vessel show just how far Beijing's navy is going in its arms race. The images show the submarine being built at the Bohai Shipyard in Huludao. It features a pump-and-jet propulsion system, X-shaped control surfaces and unusual ports linked to weapons, sonar or a reactor.
