China’s top envoy meets with Iran’s in Beijing as Trump pauses US effort in the Strait

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing, as China has close economic and political ties with Tehran.
The U.S. has imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports since April 13, allowing only two U.S.-flagged merchant ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz with military assistance.
