Children’s summer meal program returns to Brookhaven - Daily Leader

The summer food program that gives free breakfast and lunch to children is back. Beginning Monday, June 1, the meals will be available through June 25. More than 25,000 meals were served in 2025. Pickup this year is 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mamie Martin Elementary, 420 Vivian Merritt St. The grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches are available to any child age 18 and younger who is present in the vehicle at pickup.
