Dallas police say a child was shot Wednesday night on Persimmon Road. The suspect fled before officers arrived. The child is in stable condition.

Dallas Police investigates a shooting in which a minor was injured. The events occurred around 8:05 p.m. this May 7th at Persimmon Dr. 3200 block, police reported. Preliminary investigation indicated that the minor was shot and taken to a local hospital and found to be in stable condition.
