Child rescued from burning house in Chester

About 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, Chester firefighters and police raced to the 200 block of Wilson Street for the call of a house fire with possibly a baby still inside. Crews were told callers were reporting fire from the side and rear of the house, and police said heavy smoke. The entrapment was confirmed, a 2-year-old in a crib on the second floor.
