Chiefs Offensive Lineman Jaylon Moore Suffers Concussion in Win over Chargers
On Sunday, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey was ruled out early in the second quarter against the Chiefs with a concussion after spending five minutes in the medical tent.
McConkey returned to action Sunday after two days of limited practice, marking his first appearance since a Week 4 foot injury that sidelined the winless Chargers' receiving corps.
During his brief appearance, McConkey caught a 17-yard pass from quarterback Justin Herbert on the opening two drives before his final snap on a third down in the red zone.
With McConkey sidelined, the Chargers relied on Quinten Johnson and KeAndre Lambert-Smith, whom the team activated earlier this week, as Tre' Harris remained out due to hamstring injury.
The team awaits official medical reports to assess concussion severity, as McConkey's injury history includes rib and foot issues that previously limited him to emergency capacity against the Broncos.
