YAZOO CITY, Miss. (WJTV) - Patrick Jaco stepped down from his role as Yazoo City police chief effective February 5, 2026. Jaco accepted the position on December 30, 2025, after serving as an interim chief since October 2025. Jaco told WJTV 12 News that he accepted a new position in the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
