Chick-Fil-A's First New Sauce in 10 Years Has Fans Sharing Strong Reaction
The chain’s first permanent sauce in a decade blends mustard notes, smoky tang and spicy peppers after successful tests in select markets.
Chick-fil-A confirmed it will launch Spicy Chick-fil-A Sauce nationwide on November 16, marking the chain's first permanent sauce addition in 10 years.
The new Spicy Chick-fil-A Sauce blends the signature mustard and smoky tang of the original condiment with spicy peppers and will be available in both standard dipping cups and 8-ounce squeeze bottles.
Following a recent limited-edition fall menu featuring Chicken & Waffles, Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A, noted the company implemented this seasonal rollout to reimagine comforting flavors for customers.
Allrecipes reported that the company did not pilot the spicy sauce in select markets before this national release, and Chick-fil-A currently has no plans to sell the sauce in grocery stores.
This release follows the 2016 introduction of the Sweet & Spicy Sriracha Sauce, the chain's last permanent addition, bringing its total offering to seven sauces including Honey Mustard, Barbecue, and Polynesian.
