The president of the Arri, André Ventura, today challenged the secretary-general of the PS, José Luís Carneiro, to approve the reduction of VAT on the fuels of the current 23% for the intermediate rate, by 13%.
The CHEGA will present next week two legislative initiatives aimed at reducing directly the burdens of families: zero VAT on food and a decrease of the VAT applied to fuels. The announcement was made by André Ventura in Parliament, with the party putting tax relief on essential goods at the center of its political agenda.
