Chantal Debout, of his real name, 83 years old, and her husband had seized on March 31, 2023 the judicial court of Paris to contest the application of the Caisse du crédit municipal de Bordeaux (CCMB) for reimbursement of a consumer loan that the couple contracted in April 2018.
Chantal Goya and her husband will have to pay 2.2 million euros to the Caisse de crédit municipal de Bordeaux decided the Paris court on 19 August. The spouses believed that the bank had failed "to his obligations of prudence and loyalty" by granting them a loan of 2.5 million in 2018.
