(WATE) — With there being a possibility for snow overnight, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has shared that it is closing US 441/Newfound Gap Road beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Due to forecasted ice and snow for areas over 4,000 feet between Tuesday and Wednesday, the road closed to all traffic at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
