Haiti’s Electoral Council Reshuffles Leadership as Election Preparations Face Criticism

The rotation, approved Tuesday, Sept. 8, does not replace any of the CEP’s nine councilors. Instead, the councilors agreed to a new distribution of leadership positions within the bureau: Pierre-Louis as president, Jaccéus Joseph as vice president, Nemrod Sanon as secretary-general and Schnaïda Adély as treasurer.
