Deerfield, N.Y. — The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a man who touched a child at a park in the Town of Deerfield, deputies said Friday.The incident was reported to have occurred Wednesday in the early evening at the Deerfield Wilderness Park, 6329 Walker Road, according to sheriff’s Investigator Mark Chrysler.

The NT Police Force has arrested a 35-year-old male in relation to an indecent act on a child in Palmerston yesterday morning. Around 3:15pm, police located the alleged offender in Palmerston where he was arrested without incident. He remains in police custody with charges expected to follow.
