Charlton residents voted Monday to allow guns to be carried at municipal buildings, such as the police department, town hall and public libraries.The vote bypasses a 2024 Massachusetts state law that banned firearms in such municipal buildings and town administrative offices. Guns remain prohibited in public schools, which are deemed separate entities.
