- On Friday, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar addressed Booth Level Officers at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, stating India's electoral process is among the most transparent in the world due to verification at every stage.
- Before voting begins, agents monitor mock polls using EVMs and VVPATs in the presence of polling agents; counting procedures verify votes against Form 17C records to ensure accuracy.
- Booth Level Officers identify cases like Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate, and Foreigner to maintain electoral rolls, while visiting homes to verify that every eligible Indian citizen who has completed 18 years of age is registered.
- During the event, Kumar engaged with more than 1,000 stakeholders, including Electoral Literacy Clubs members and campus ambassadors, urging youth to download the ECINET app to assist peers with voter registration.
- India currently chairs the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, an organization comprising 35 major democracies, reflecting global recognition of the country's free and fair electoral system.
