CCTVs to be installed in Navi Mumbai civic schools

CCTV cameras will be installed in schools run by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The civic body has taken this decision to provide better security to the students and teaching staff.

Navi Mumbai: Civic body to install over 680 CCTV cameras in 55 school buildings

As per the plan, the civic body will install CCTV in 55 school buildings. There are 79 primary schools and 23 secondary schools run by NMMC and these schools are functioning in 55 buildings.

There are 52,000 students in 79 primary and 53 secondary schools run by the civic body.
