Martinez nets double as Inter come back to draw 2-2 with Roma
On Saturday, AS Roma and Inter Milan drew 2-2 at the Stadio Olimpico in a top-of-the-table Serie A clash, marking the first time both sides dropped points this season.
Manu Kone opened the scoring for Roma with a right-footed shot in the sixth minute, then added a second with his left 31 minutes later to send the home side into halftime 2-0 up.
Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez reduced the deficit in the 46th minute and lashed home the equalizer in the 79th, completing a comeback for the visitors after the break.
The draw leaves Roma top on goal difference ahead of Inter, with both sides on 13 points from five games, one point above Cagliari, who won 1-0 at Udinese through Daniel Maldini.
Elsewhere in Serie A, Bologna were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Torino, completing a weekend of shared points across the league's top sides.
The Argentine Lautaro Martínez rescued Inter Milan with two goals in the second part and the defending champion of the Serie A tied on Saturday 2-2 against Rome in his clash between leaders of the board.
