CBU study says CBRM light rail transit is viable with government funding

A new study from Cape Breton University says the first phase of a commuter train system in Cape Breton Regional Municipality could be ready to go in three years at an estimated cost of $143 million.

TriCounty Link Hosting Transit Study Open House in Johns Island on Monday

TriCounty Link (TCL) is hosting the first of three open houses throughout the region on Monday in Johns Island, to support its upcoming transit study project. The TCL transit study will help plan for more efficient, effective, and convenient service throughout the TriCounty area, including rural areas of Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties, as well as the rapidly growing Summerville area.
