Warren firefighters rescued three cats from a home after the attic caught on fire due to what is believed to be a bathroom fan malfunction. Fire crews were dispatched to a home on the 25000 block of Hayes Road near 10 Mile Road at 10:30 a.m. July 19 and upon arrival saw light smoke coming through the eaves in the attic.
