The Catholic Parliamentary Front of the Chamber of Deputies released on Friday (18) repudiation note to the statements of Lula (PT) on priestly celibacy and the ordination of women in the Catholic Church. The text, signed by the president of the front, Mr Luiz Gastão (PSD-CE), was published on the Instagram of the parliamentary group.

During a meeting with Protestant leaders this week, president said that evangelical churches give more freedom and space to women and defended end of celibacy in Catholicism
