Caterpillar Raises $15.2 Million for United Way

Dec. 1, 2025 — Caterpillar employees and retirees, with the Caterpillar Foundation, pledged more than $15.2 million for the 2025–2026 campaign supporting United Way chapters and partner agencies across the United States, Mexico, Canada and Panama.
The Caterpillar Foundation focuses on community infrastructure and workforce skills, emphasizing investments in human, natural, and basic services to help communities thrive and be resilient.
Employees recorded more than 12,000 volunteer hours during August and September, generating extra matching funds while the Caterpillar Foundation matched donations dollar-for-dollar and funded a two-year, $250,000 grant to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas for the Pathways to Work initiative.
Caterpillar was named a 2025 Leading Corporate Partner by United Way for raising more than $5 million annually, with historical fundraising since 2000 exceeding $251 million globally.
Caterpillar's global scale and 2024 sales of $64.8 billion position it to sustain philanthropic programs through its business segments and the Caterpillar Foundation, founded 1952.
