Castor’s town council approved $20,000 for an unplanned sidewalk repair during its June 22 meeting. While the 2026 budget contained $6,000 for sidewalk repairs, two sections of sidewalk near 55th Avenue and 50th Street have been identified as being significantly degraded and in need of repair.
