A man was shot in the early morning hours of Wednesday in El Corozo neighborhood, Cabo Rojo. The area police received a 911 call reporting a serious assault in which the victim was impacted on the right leg. The injured person was taken to a hospital, where the emergency doctor indicated that his condition is stable. The Criminal Investigation Corps of the Mayagüez Assault Division is in charge of the investigation.
