The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced long-awaited repairs for the Carter Road overpass on U.S. 60. On June 7, 2024, a commercial vehicle hit the overpass, damaging one of the support beams. A replacement beam had to be designed and fabricated to match the structural needs of the bridge.
