Carolina Raptor Center is releasing a rehabilitated Merlin back into the wild. This is an unusual event because it’s the first Merlin that they’ve rehabilitated in 9 years. The release will take place Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Crowders Mountain State Park, 522 Park Offices Lane, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
