Capital Power to Provide Electricity for Large-Scale Alberta Data Centre Project

Capital Power will supply 250 MW to Alberta data centre starting 2028 and partner with Apollo in a $3B US natural gas power asset deal to expand capacity and returns.

Edmonton’s Capital Power revealed that it has signed a long-term agreement to provide electricity to an unnamed developer for a large-scale data centre project in Alberta.
